Here, here, I second that with a resoundful Amen! Congrats to Firelight. I am thrilled. What a lovely gift she will no doubt get. I must visit her blog and tell her likewise.
Here, here, my teacup too is raised...I along with Mr. Toast. I might add the I adore that hunter green/gold cup and saucer. I want it!...
Have a great weekend Rebecca..
LadyCat and I are going to "A Dickens of a Christmas" downtown Lafayette, Indiana where I'm singing in a group dressed in period attire outside. The festivities are the opening of the Christmas Season for the downtown shops. Then we must get started on wrapping of Christmas gifts..Christmas will be here before we know it...
The Bach
s/b "that" I adore... when am I ever going to start proof reading my comments.. hee hee :)
and I am again right now as I type enjoying your beautiful music. The one playing right now I'd like to know the singer.. she is singing in a soft high voice about the fire Christmas morning..the manger scene. Can you tell me who it is? thanks again! The Bach
MMM, Thank you! I raise my cuppa back to year, dear friend.
Bach, Thank you as well and the voice you're referring to is from Celtic Woman. Her name is Meav, and you can check her music out at www.meav.com . The song she's singing is the hauntingly beautiful Wexford Carol.
tee hee...this typo thing really is getting out of hand...
I raise my cuppa back to YOU...not year...LOL!!
Rebecca, what a wonderful morning surprise! I have been busy since very early this morning, putting up greenery and Christmas window lights here at the cottage. And, yes I have been enjoying a cup of tea! I am truly honored, and must thank you for this lovely blog & the gorgeous green & gold teacup! Also, much thanks to Mr. Toast for bringing us together! Oh yes...thank you for the Snow Widget...it looks really lovely over at my place!
Peace be with you!
Bach, please post about the "Dickens of a Christmas." Oh, how much fun that would be!...I hope you and Lady Cat have a wonderful time.
FireLight,
You are most welcome. If you would email me with information where I might mail your package, that would be great.
Have a lovely weekend!
Congrats to Firelight. She so deserves it. Hey..maybe you can invite Sting over for some tea! :D tee hee
Congratulations Firelight! Lurve the snow, it just looks so pretty falling softly!
Oh...congrats, Firelight...you lucky girl, you!
Rebecca,
The Dickens of a Christmas was quite cold. We sang and did fine. Then LadyCat and I stayed to see part of the performance of "A Christmas Carol" performed by local talent. Then we bought a beautiful birdcage in an antigue shop. Hope you're havinga grand weekend! The Bach
Oooh, the tea is on now most likely. I want to transport myself over there and would be delighted to serve you ladies tea with a grin, if you'd have Mr. Toast!
Rebecca,
Thanks for the website for your beautiful music... I must visit it this afternoon....you're too kind to share it....thanks so much.
The Bach
Here's to you Firelight...congratulations! I am going to stop over and check out your blog...looking forward to meeting you : )
Rebecca, congratulations again on your 200th post!
Very exciting!
Mr. Toast,
You would have been more than welcome! :)
It was lovely....
You're very welcome Bach and Lady Cat:)
Have a wonderful Sunday evening...
Not sure why, but I can't see where to leave a comment on your new Christmas tea post. Maybe the probablem is on my end? You all look lovely...especially you in that cloche! :) I'd love a piece of pineapple cake and a cup of earl grey.....
BTW... couldn't comment on your tea post as the option wasn't available, not sure if you intended it to be that way.
What a lovely, lovely holiday party you all had! And your right, that tree is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! Really it is just stunning, it must take her hours to do just the tree unwrapping each one and placing it on the tree. I lurve trees that are loaded with ornaments too.
The Victorian Sponge Cake looks so yummy, how does she cut it without all the center filling spilling out? Carefully saws it back and forth with a knife like angel food cake?
And... your hat was perfect!
LOL!..It's fixed now..No,I am often technologically challenged or will hit something that I'm not supposed to...
Thank you for the kind comments! It was wonderful!
I might add the I adore that hunter green/gold cup and saucer. I want it!...
