OOOOHhhh, YES!!! I see we have the same taste in male actors, Rebecca!
My list would contain these same ones, only mixed around a little. DDL would moved up past Sir Larry. And Sir Anthony Hopkins would be added possibly in the number one or two spot. I could listen to Alan Rickman talk all day and all night. Sigh. Fun, fun post.

I suspected we might share many of the same favorites...Sir Anthony really should be on here as well. He's definitely in my top 15...

Excellent choices Rebecca. I loved Alan Rickman as Professor Severus Snape...as though he were born to play that part. I know you've blogged about Gary Oldman before....I still haven't seen him in anything, unfortunately..(must remedy that)...Colin Firth is always so soulful...HOw do you spell roguish sex appeal? J-o-h-n-n-y--D-e-p-p...

Laurence Olivier ---a titan of 20the century film....always enjoy how he throws himself into each role.

I would differ with your list in one respect: Cary Grant is number one. Quite simply, he is for me the epitome of not only an actor, but of a man, and gentleman bar none.

Thanks so much for this peek into your fave top ten. I can see that you enjoy quite a variety of movies, by the choices you have listed here...and, you evidently like your leading men to be handsome devils!

When I was a little girl, I had such a crush on Richard Harris as King Arthur in Camelot. My husband and I got to see him in the stage play and loved it so much we went back the next night as well! And, of course, Cary Grant will always be sublime. And I have a strong affinity for Alan Rickman as well... especially in Sense and Sensibility.

Pamela, I am so envious! I also fell hard for Richard Harris when I was little, because of his performance in Camelot...To have had the great fortune to see him on the stage must have been an amazing honor...Alan Rickman seems to have all our hearts:-)...

Lavinia, you know Johnny Depp is a Kentuckian whom we proudly claim:) I actually went to high school with one of his cousins. He has proven to be such a versatile and well respected actor...

I somehow supsected that Cary Grant might be at the top of your list as well as Harrison Ford. He is always teetering around my top 10 as well...I do so love his movies and actually just watched him in Sabrina tonight...Hadn't seen that version in ages and loved him in it.
