SNAP...CRACKLE...POP...

That's what I'm hearing outside my window... We are being hit yet again in Central Kentucky by another treacherous Ice Storm...We're praying that our old trees don't all come down in mass and that we don't lose power...Tonight will be the perfect night to gather in the parlor beside the fireplace with husband, children, dogs, cat, and a nice cuppa tea....Stay safe and warm dear friends...

Ooo I love winter but I can't say that I envy you at the moment, that can be a scary thing with trees falling. Stay safe and enjoy your parlor time.

Hope you still have power down there! We had a thick coating of ice and now tons and tons of snow on top, up here. I would have some glorious pix if I had not dropped my camera and broken it!!

Having lived in Southern California all my life I've never experienced the type of weather you're having, but I can imagine that it must be a little intense at times. Stay warm, safe and you, your family and the trees will be in my prayers.

Ice storms are so beautiful, but rather treacherous! Just as you describe...the pops, and the snaps. I just hate lying in bed hearing that and worrying about all the old trees surrounding the house! I would much rather have snow. Take care!
