CINNAMON APPLE SPICE: TEA OF THE WEEK

What says autumn more than the aroma of hot apple cider? Well for a nice alternative, how about hot cinnamon apple spice herbal tea? The aroma of this tea steeping reminds you of hot apple cobbler baking in the oven. This tea should be subtitled comfort tea. It's perfect for a cool autumn evening.

The all-American flavor of apples and cinnamon in this deliciously comforting herbal tea is actually a product of global collaboration, with spicy Vietnamese cinnamon and a lively tang from Thai and Chinese hibiscus. Cinnamon is an ancient spice, and was often presented to monarchs and other leaders as a highly valued gift. Its piquant flavor is the perfect complement to the sweetness of juicy red apples in Cinnamon Apple Spice herbal tea.( from Celestial Seasonings)

Yum Rebecca! The apple spice tea sounds lovely! I've been drinking the Bengal spice tea - Celestial Seasonings certainly know how to blend a delicious tea! I hope your enjoying a lovely autumn. It's been very warm here, but should cool down toward the end of the week! God bless!

I have had cinamon apple spice tea but not this particular brand. I love this flavour...particularly at this time of year as you say...so spicy warm on cool evenings, and it smells so fragrant. I raise my cup to you !

Hello all...Today, being a bit rainy and cloudy, is a perfect day for this tea so I'm off for a cuppa right now!

Rebecca, I checked the supermarket for Celestial's apple spice tea yesterday, but my local doesn't carry it. Never fear! I shall not give up the search. It sounds just too good to miss! :-o)

Have a lovely weekend!

Hi Rebecca, I am back to blogging and catching up on what I have missed. I love the music you have chosen... beautiful. I enjoy the apple cinnamon every once in a while, especially during fall. It seems so right for the season. But one of my very favorites is the Twinings Pure Peppermint which you mentioned in an earlier post. I also love learning the little tidbits about the history of the teas from Celestial Seasonings.

Blessings,
Christi
