The Return of Victoria
So often in life, the saying, " You can never go home again" rings true. Yet this past Saturday I was greeted with the most comforting surprise and nostalgic journey. All found within the pages of a lovely little magazine called Victoria. She is mercifully back and I welcomed her with open arms and a fresh cuppa Earl Grey Lavender tea. I mourned her ending and the reality that I could no longer count on the comfort of a wee glimpse into a world where time stood still. A world that I desperately longed to join. This is a world where women are championed because of their contributions but equally celebrated for their grace, elegance, class, and dignity. This world is one where modernism takes a well ushered back seat to traditions, antiques, historic preservation, gardens, art, tea, and of course travel. This world exists within Victoria and as I've come to discover with her rebirth, many others across the universe have longed for her return as well. If I can only recommend one magazine worthy of our Tea Society members to subscribe to, it is Victoria.
So,When Mother Nature ushers in the chill of winter, you will be forever grateful that your dear cherished friend will arrive to comfort you as you share a scone and cuppa by the fire. Please go to Victoria's website http://www.victoriamag.com/ and take a moment to preview the contents and don't dare leave until you've ordered your subscription.
